The ChillTown team is creating a Web-enabled Knowledge Base application called
FastFacts that provides customers with the power to search for and solve their own technical issues.
In the Office:
Internally, FastFacts is an easy-to-use, powerful authoring tool for customer support technicians who have been assigned to edit, verify and approve newly created support knowledge.
The system will improve customer service by allowing users access to technical knowledge and decrease the workload and stress currently felt by the Technical Services Staff.
On the Web:
FastFacts’ advanced searching algorithms can search thousands of articles in the customized database at blinding speed. FastFacts provides tools for customers to easily access corporate information. These include:
- Searching. Search for relevant articles based on words or phrases
- Advanced Searching. Restrict searching to specific categories
- Browse for Articles. Browse an organised catalog of articles.
- Relevancy. Search results pass through algorithms that rank them according to relevancy.
