Do you have a problem that needs a computing solution?

For over 30 years, Camosun’s Capstone Project has successfully matched up industry, government and not-for-profit organizations with senior students in the Computer Systems diploma program. With newly acquired skills, these students are ready to design a software solution for many business problems and are looking for real-world experience to hone those skills.

Sponsors must make a commitment of time and resources for a successful project. A dedicated contact person from the sponsoring organization is expected to provide direction and feedback to the students throughout the project term. We do not expect our clients to have technical knowledge, however; that contact person should have a good understanding of the project. The contact person(s) will need to meet with the student team at least once a week, in person or online.

A sponsor is not required to find work space for the the team.

If you are interested in submitting a project proposal, here’s how:

1. Read about the responsibilities and process of becoming a Capstone client.
2. Submit a project proposal by filling out the submission form.

There is no cost to submit a proposal.
